Vacation at Home
I went to see a friend the other day and
we went outside to enjoy the warm morning.
What a fresh and relaxing spot to pretend
you were on a get away.
Even the dog thought it was a good place to rest.
I guess this is his favorite place to groove.
Love the happy flowers on her little barn.
Wouldn't this be a nice little play house for children.
Heck, I'd like to stash my stuff in here.
She likes to decorate in the "beach" style.
So for today I pretend I'm in my own Paradise.
Throw on some Kenny Chesney, put a drink in my hand
and we'll lay and wait till the sun goes down.
After all it's 5 o'clock somewhere.
Looks like a great place to spend a morning with a good friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit. I love the fun bright colors of her yard. Thanks for the visit.
DeleteSuch a relaxing and happy place to relax with your friend.
ReplyDeleteIsn't taking a mini break and pretend vacation even for a couple of hours, wonderful!
Yes, I have taken a few vacations that we stay at home. I pretend I'm away with all the perks of home.
DeleteThat looks like a fun place to just enjoy the company of a friend. Thanks for stopping by. Brenda's Cozy Little House was one of the first blogs I found. Love at first site. Signed up to follow you. What kind of dogs do you have. I thought I saw a Yorkie.....but was it your friend's. I used to make alot of cards. I scrapbook as well. Have a good week-end.
ReplyDeleteWell Debbie thank you for stopping by. The Yorkie was my friends. I see a lot of them in blogs. I have a older Maltese. She was a new pup during 9-11. She was held and loved on a lot during that time. My children are growing up and I have one still at home with her 8 yr. old son. One of the loves in my life. I have another 3 yr. old grandson. I had 3 girls so they are the boys I never had. Have a blessed day.
DeleteWhat a charming little barn! Looks like such a relaxing time.
ReplyDeleteThank you for checking my blog out. Have a lovely weekend.
