RAINBOWS OF BLESSING.

January 3, 2011

I remember when everyone was all worried about the year turning to 2000. Boy did it sound strange. 2000. But here we are still 2011. I'm still walking the face of the earth and haven't fallen off yet.

Today on my way home about 4:15 I saw a rainbow in the west of town. (( Or whatever it is called without rain. )) It was like a visit from God. Telling me I am doing good so far. Keep up the good work. If only I can keep this outlook on my day to day walk on earth with those I love and care for and those I run into with everyday living. It reminded me to say a prayer for those who need it. Some special people who need it very much. Cancer is in their body. Life isn't done with them dear God. Heal them and let them be a lite for you.

My evening goal is to go to bed early and rest up for the cleaning job I have tomorrow. Need that energy to make it the 4 hrs. Every time I have this job I feel a pull to not do it. But God is with me every time to make it through and come away feeling like a winner. I ask for words of encouragement. And every time I hear his voice cheering me on.

Blessings and Love to all.

Moments of the past.

I often find myself day dreaming of the way things use to be. Not too many things to do in a day. When the day ends you had time to sit and enjoy. Less things in the house. No computers or cell phones. Life just had time to relax.

It's hard to find that time now. It is always hurry to get one thing done and move on to the next. I've been falling of the past few days. More things to do then time in the day. 3 dogs, One child One grandchild and One (thank God) husband. That is just in our house. then the other 2 daughters, one son in law and the other grand baby. Boy do I have GREAT Grand Babies.

I want to go to the less stressful and more simple days. But then again I stayed home. I had more time then. Why do we fill our days with so much?

I want them back before I'm too old. Too bake for the grand kids and then send them home. hehehe. Getting older isn't just like I had thought. But it's my life as I know it and I shall enjoy and rejoice in what blessings I have.

A DAY OF BLESSINGS.

June 8, 2010......

Today was a very good day. Took Parker to day camp. Went home did a few chores. Took a nap because I could and getting up at 5 am isn't fun. Went to work and stopped at Krogers on my home, which I found Jen and Parker there. Parker hung with me and as we were packing our groceries in the cruiser I got a call to pick up Gage at day care. So off we went. He was surprised to see Parker.

When we got home the girl next door was having a b day party and sent over some cake. Well Gage ate cake and a cup of milk. Up to this point he hasn't liked to eat. At least for me. Then at supper he ate a big meal. I had to take him away from the table. I gave him a bath and let him play in the running water with his hands. He loves to feel the water trickle on his fingers. He felt the water for 10 min. Then got him out of tub. Clean and fresh I took him home and daddy gave him a bottle and I slipped out the door.

Parker was on good behavior today also. I love when he acts like a little man. Beats the days that he loves to be loud. As I say"he's such a boy" Having 3 girls this is so different.

It was a blessed day. A day to take it all in and thank God for my many blessings. When I get upset for things I don't have I remember that with more work I can have what I want. Maybe not just like I want...but close enough.

Catching up on time

We had a birthday party for our middle daughter yesterday. She turned 26. Wow. I didn't have my first child till I was 26. She has an almost 6 year old son. She ha a lot going on for her. It was a beautiful sight seeing us all around the table. Two grand kids getting excited eating CAKE.

In 13 days my youngest will graduate from college. Hope she is able to get a job she is seeking.

And then in 9 days after that her son will turn one. HMMMM....He is getting practice eating cake before the big 1st birthday.

We have had strong winds for 4 days now. As long as the big storms stay away. It's time to get the hummingbird feeders out and call the little birds to eat.

The day is calling me to get off to work.

Blessings till we talk again.

looking for spring.....

Another morning of snow and cold. I think this is over 60 days of snow on the ground. Well I wished for a winter of snow and I guess I got it. Don't let anyone know I asked for it. heheh

Amanda has been living in her house since the end of December. Gage has one tooth and 3 more are pushing their way up just like the spring flowers we are all looking for.

Parker had his 1st spelling test in pre kindergarten. His 2nd was much better. He had them all down pat. With a big smile I might add.

The girls will turn 24, 26 & 30 this summer. Gage will be "1" in 3 months and Parker will be "6". WOW!

Till next time.

~~Days of December~~

December 7,2009
Today we woke up to fresh snow on the ground. First snow of this winter of 2009.It was beautiful. Took Mike 30 more minutes to drive to work. Not Good. I love the snow but his driving to work safe is more important.

I also got to see Gage a little today. It has been 2 days since I last say him. I feel like it was a lifetime. I rocked him to sleep. I would have held him longer but I had a harp lesson to go to.

December 8,2009
Parker (5 yrs old) had his winter program at Delphi today at noon. The stinker had to wear his cowboy boots. What a doll he was. Smiled the whole time. It was kinda cut watching the little 3 yr old girls start to cry. Little by little they worked up the tears and had to run to mom. Sweet things.

It's cold and windy outside. The wind is blowing the fire smoke inside the house. Stinking us out.
With high winds it blew our umbrella out of the holder and into the yard. Poor DH had to go out in the rain and cold and get it back and put in the holder. More wind and rain tomorrow with it turning to snow.

I've got a very big day. I better hit the hay.

God Bless.

Birthday Greeting Card for Mom

This is a card I made for
my mom on her Birthday.
My first time using Just
Right stamps. My bow was made with the bow easy. I embossed the front of card with my cuttlebug. The butterfly was made with my cricut. Cart Home Accents. I think it turned out good.
