Dreaming of Cleaning.

I've been wanting to do some real cleaning out. Throwing or storing, whatever it takes. It has made me restless. By the time I get home from work I'm ready to rest a little and my Grandson wants me to play with him. And so the story goes. I don't get anything done. I look at my crap and think do I really need this? Probably not. Oh my craft and Harp room. I hope to get to it tomorrow. I have the day off so I MUST be a task master and make myself organize and throw.

I started another little craft....Beading. Something for my cards, bit then the wheels started to turn. I wake up at night or early morning with ideas and can't go back to sleep. Wanting to be quiet and not wake anyone else, I can't get started with my ideas. Once they are up, well it's over.

Anyway, Just some random thoughts. Dreaming of the day my house pics could be on my blog for it's beauty and great finds. Till then I read of the blogs that do what I wish I could be doing. And plan for the day I can make it happen.

Have you heard of the "procrastinate"? That is me all the way.

Deer and Swan

Two more things that should have been added to my last post. Deer and Swans.

Monday evening we looked out and A deer was standing just outside our back yard. We
went out to get a closer look. Carrying my 2 year old grandson, we made it out just in time to see it gallop away. My grandson was pretending to gallop away like the deer. Sweet an funny.

Over the years we have seen many deers roam the back field. One winter a BIG buck lay in the snow, so large and majestic watching while his wife and 2 yearlings grazed for food. Such a heartwarming feeling.

Another spring we saw many young deer and several mothers at the same time eating at the edge of the woods. That was a fun day. I think I counted 7 adults and several young.

Swans amaze me to no end. Don't know why. Just that grace they show. They look so loving but I know better. I guess they can be very mean.

Just another short blurp of my life. Take it or leave it. It's all me 100% pure love of nature and all mankind.

1. I love the color of Purple. Any shade.
2. I had lavender on my wedding dress.
3. Wisteria is a shade of purple....so WysteriaAngel my e-mail addy &
Wisteria Lane my blog name. I love Wisteria.
4. I love Pink also. People said red heads cant wear pink. I don't agree.
5. I have always liked to keep my hands busy.
6. I have become a blog addict. Country,vintage, pink flowers, cards & my new
fun thing is brads.
7. I day dream more of things I want then trying to make them happen. That
could be due to lack of $$$$$.
8. I've always wanted to have children. Girls.
9 I play the harp. (not to well)
10. I am Quaker.
11. I need to drink Coke.
12. Gardening is like praying to me.
13. I love having red hair.
14. I love growing up in the time I have. Wish things could be so simple again.
15. I have always had a dog. or 2.....or 3.
16. I raised canaries for a few years.
17. I still have one and it should be at least 12 years old. Sings when he wants.
18. When I want to blog or post a picture it will find a way of hiding.
19. Love to hang out laundry.
20. I hate worms, slugs & frogs in my face.

Ok that's all you need to know for now. It's time to go to bed. Clean sheets and happy dreams. And yes they were hung on the line.

A LITTLE LATE....BUT.

My first picture belongs to a post back in September 8, 2009. My very good friend painted this and sent it to me as a surprise. I saw it on her blog and told her how beautiful it was. And next thing...here it was. I treasure it so, so much. Took me a long time to decide how to frame it. But I love what I came up with. Thank you my dearest friend Sandy. I Love you from my heart.
Now this picture was to be posted with my last blog. But as I said it wouldn't let me post it. So here is our finished product. YUMMY! The flowers are from my garden. The white Lilly is on it's second year of growth. Started with one stalk in planting of 2009. 2010 two stalks. Now I can't wait to see what will happen in this summer. Three stalks would be so exciting. OR maybe each stalk will produce 2 stalks. Wow I didn't think of that till just now. Check back and I will let you know for sure.

Ok that is all for now. Need to get going and work on some cards. I will post them soon. After all that is why I started this blog...what..has it been two years...No I think three. OOPS. I'm a slow turtle.

~~LIVING IN THE PAST~~

I've always felt I was born in the wrong time. I think I'd love to be back in the late 1800's or early 1900's. Maybe if I was I wouldn't like it. But I do enjoy cleaning, planting, canning and cooking. But I never have the time for canning anymore. In fact I am kept so busy I have little time to do the things I long to do.

One reason is...dada...the computer. I spend time reading other blogs on the things I enjoy. Don't get me wrong, I do bust out a thing or two I enjoy. Keeping up with life is such a time consumer.
If we didn't need that little green stuff. ($$) I could stay home and play with what I love. I'm learning how to make time for myself.

My mother and I made some pickles this last summer. (2010) Her favorite pickle. We had a blast working together. I think she has just one jar left. I have only opened 3.

Well I have a lot to learn about blogging. I have the finished picture to add and it wont let me. I think this happened another time. Anyway you can see my mother. She is 76 in this pic. I'll try one more time to add one more pic. If not, thanks for your visit. Till next time God Bless.

The birth of spring

Spring is looking better every day. Even thought we had some snow and a little ice last week it went away really quick. Yes that is spring in Indiana. 18 more days till SPRING. And 19 more days till my youngest daughters Birthday. She will turn 25. I feel it's been so long ago. Now her baby is almost 2. This picture is right after birth. She had lots of drugs and some of the day was fuzzy. I got to be with her during delivery. I was so amazed at the process of birth from the other side. WOW...God is awesome. This little fella is walking and jibber jabbering all over the place. Such a joy to see my 2 grandsons playing together. I can't wait for spring and take them both out to play in the warm sunshine. Spring rain, mud and all, I'm ready.

RAINBOWS OF BLESSING.

I remember when everyone was all worried about the year turning to 2000. Boy did it sound strange. 2000. But here we are still 2011. I'm still walking the face of the earth and haven't fallen off yet.

Today on my way home about 4:15 I saw a rainbow in the west of town. (( Or whatever it is called without rain. )) It was like a visit from God. Telling me I am doing good so far. Keep up the good work. If only I can keep this outlook on my day to day walk on earth with those I love and care for and those I run into with everyday living. It reminded me to say a prayer for those who need it. Some special people who need it very much. Cancer is in their body. Life isn't done with them dear God. Heal them and let them be a lite for you.

My evening goal is to go to bed early and rest up for the cleaning job I have tomorrow. Need that energy to make it the 4 hrs. Every time I have this job I feel a pull to not do it. But God is with me every time to make it through and come away feeling like a winner. I ask for words of encouragement. And every time I hear his voice cheering me on.
